Consultation has concluded
In a Minute to the October 2020 Ordinary Council Meeting, the Interim Administrator stated that “the considerable financial and community investment in the ARMIDALE PLAN 2040 document in my view demands that it be placed on public exhibition for comment prior to the report requested in the August 2020 Council decision”.
At the October meeting, it was resolved that the ARMIDALE PLAN 2040 (aka Masterplan 2040) Final Report dated June 2020 be placed on public exhibition for 42 days. Any comment received on the Final Report during the public exhibition period is to inform Council staff in the preparation of the report on the actions that deliver the objectives of the Community Strategic Plan (CSP).
At the August 2020 Meeting it had been resolved that upon submission of the Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS) to the Department of Planning, Industry & Environment (DPIE) a report be provided to Council identifying any remaining actions of ARMIDALE PLAN 2040 that deliver the objectives of the CSP.
The final LSPS was adopted at the October 2020 Meeting and submitted to the DPIE on 29 October 2020 and is available to view on the NSW Government's Planning Portal website here.
The ARMIDALE PLAN 2040 Final Report is on public exhibition for community feedback from Tuesday 3 November to Monday 14 December 2020.
Residents are invited to provide feedback by;

dropped off in person to the Armidale or Guyra Offices.
