Black Summer Bushfire Grant Information & Workshop in Armidale

Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants open in July

Communities still recovering from the 2019-20 bushfires will soon have access to new Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants Program from the Australian Government. The National Recovery and Resilience Agency has released the guidelines for the grant program. The guidelines for the grants, as well as a preview application form, are available on the Business Grants Hub website at https://business.gov.au/bsbr. The NRRA website has information on the grants program available here: https://recovery.gov.au/black-summer-grants

The new grants program will help communities address priority work that hasn’t yet been supported under other funding programs. The grants will fund projects to support social, economic, built and environmental recovery.

To make things as easy as possible for applicants, workshops and webinars to assist with the application process are being arranged.

Applications for the grants will open on 22 July and close 2 September.

A number of workshops have been programmed for the community. Currently the schedule for the workshops is as follows:

2 AUG ARMIDALE

3 AUG GLEN INNES

4 AUG TENTERFIELD

9 AUG KEMPSEY

10 AUG COFFS HARBOUR

11 AUG GRAFTON

12 AUG CASINO

Please note that dates and locations may change due to COVID-19 restrictions and venue availability.
