The purpose of the discussion paper is to stimulate community feedback on the role of the sports Council Committee and what changes if any are required to improve its role in serving the Armidale sporting community and improving sports assets. The paper outlines of some key changes that have occurred in relation to funding and in how the committee operates, and provides some points for discussion. Feedback need not be confined to the points raised in this paper.

Residents are invited to make submissions by;

  • mail to Armidale Regional Council, 75A Rusden Street, Armidale 2350,
  • email to council@armidale.nsw.gov.au, or
  • dropped off in person to the Armidale or Guyra Offices.

Submissions must be received by Council no later than 5pm on Thursday 18 February 2021.
