Consultation has concluded

At the Ordinary Council Meeting held on Wednesday 24 February 2022 Council endorsed the draft Community Grants and Sponsorship Policy for placing on public exhibition for a period of 28 days from Thursday 25 February to Thursday 24 March 2022.

This Policy provides direction to management in relation to a framework surrounding financial and in-kind assistance provided under the annual community Grants and Sponsorship Program.

The main objectives of this policy are to:

  • improve community benefits and outcomes;
  • improve financial assistance management;
  • improve communications of support provided;
  • reduce legislative and regulatory risk; and
  • reduce reputational risk.

Submissions close Thursday 24 March 2022.
