Consultation has concluded
At the Ordinary Council Meeting held on Wednesday 25 May 2022 Council endorsed the draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2022 - 2026 for public exhibition for a period of 28 days from Thursday 26 May to Wednesday 22 June 2022.
Disability Inclusion Planning is a way in which governments, public authorities and all organisations can reduce and remove barriers for people with disability and foster a more accessible and inclusive community. Disability Inclusion Planning is about making a plan that outlines the intention and actions that the NSW government departments and agencies will take to remove barriers in access to Government information services and employment as well as to foster the promotion of the rights of people with disability.
Send in a submission: Submissions are invited and must be addressed to the General Manager, Armidale Regional Council, PO Box 75A, Armidale NSW 2350 or sent by email to council@armidale.nsw.gov.au
Submissions close Wednesday 22 June 2022.
