Draft Community Engagement Policy
At the Ordinary Council Meeting held in Armidale on Wednesday 28 June 2017 the Administrator endorsed the recommendation to place the Draft Community Engagement Policy on Public Exhibition from Wednesday 5 July to Wednesday 2 August 2017 for a period of 28 days.
The purpose of this policy is to provide the framework for a consistent and best practice approach to engaging with the community across the Council area and functions. The policy will assist the organisation to be open, transparent and accountable, and to make decisions in the best interests of the public. The policy will strengthen the trust between Council and the community and build confidence in Council’s ability to plan and make decisions that will respond to the present and future needs of all constituents within the Council area.
Hard copies can be viewed at the Armidale Office 135 Rusden Street, Armidale or the Guyra Office at 158 Bradley Street, Guyra.
Submissions can be emailed to Council or mailed to Armidale Regional Council ‘Draft Community Engagement Policy’ PO Box 75A Armidale, NSW 2350.
