Guyra Home Support Services Building

Council has updated its Home Support Services Policy to comply with the Aged Care Quality Standards which come into effect on July 1 2019, with additional consideration of funding guidelines, regulatory requirements and State and Federal Legislation.

The policy governs the Guyra Home Support Services programs, operated by Armidale Regional Council and includes: meals, transport, individual social support and group social support.

Council’s Ordinary Meeting on 24 July 2019 resolved to put the draft policy on Public Exhibition for a period of 28 days. The document will be on public exhibition from Wednesday 31 July to Wednesday 28 August 2019.

Residents are invited to make submissions by;

  • mail to Armidale Regional Council, 75A Rusden Street, Armidale 2350,
  • email to council@armidale.nsw.gov.au, or
  • dropped off in person to the Armidale or Guyra Offices.

Submissions will be received for 28 days and will close on Wednesday 28 August 2019 at 5pm. Public submissions will be treated as non-confidential unless the submitter specifically requests confidentiality. Submitters are also allowed to have their submissions treated as non-confidential, except for the name of the submitter, or other identifying material.
