Consultation has concluded

At the Ordinary Council Meeting of 22 November 2017 Armidale Regional Council approved the Draft Media Policy for public exhibition from Friday 1 December to the close of business Monday 22 January 2018. The draft Media Policy has been developed to ensure that comment made to the public through the media:

• Is consistent, well informed, timely and appropriate.

• Provides a coordinated, professional and consistent approach to media liaison.

• Clearly indicates Council’s authorised spokespersons and defines the roles and responsibilities within the Council for working with the media.

The community is invited to make submissions in regard to this policy which is now on public exhibition and can be viewed here on this website or at Council’s Service Centres at 135 Rusden Street Armidale or 158 Bradley Street Guyra.
Submissions should be addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Armidale Regional Council, PO Box 75A, ARMIDALE 2350, and can be made via email to council@armidale.nsw.gov.au or mailed to PO Box 75A, Armidale NSW 2350, or delivered to one of our Customer Service Centres at 135 Rusden Street, Armidale or 158 Bradley Street, Guyra.
