Consultation has concluded
Council is implementing a Rates and Charges Write-Off Policy, to fix the amount of rates and charges above which any individual rate or charge may be written off.
Rates and charges can only be written off by resolution of Council, in accordance with the legislation.
The policy defines appropriate authorisation and reporting requirements to write off rates and charges.
Submissions have closed for the Draft Rates and Charges Write-Off Policy, which was on Public Exhibition from Friday 27 September to Friday 26 October.
