Thank you for a great response to our survey and feedback on the future of the Armidale Autumn Festival and to the 42 people that indicated that they would assist in the planning and running of next year's event.
Your valuable feedback will be reviewed by the working group that will be formed soon to plan for next year's event.
The Armidale Autumn Festival has been an event tradition since it's inception in 1992. In 2023 the Autumn Festival will have run for 31 years with the exception of one year during Covid.
The event has grown to be one of the most recognisable and popular events for the city of Armidale and demonstrates our love of the Autumn season and a celebration of community spirit.
Council is looking to reinvigorate the event and is seeking your input on its future. This is your opportunity to submit ideas for consideration and share some of the things you love about the event and some of the things you think could change or be added. We want to hear it all!
Your feedback will be presented to a new working group that will form to share in the development, administration and deliver of next year's event, in partnership with Council. If you or your organisation are interested in being considered for the working group or you would just like to nominate as a volunteer on the day please indicate this in the survey.
The future of this great event depends on community participation!
When you do provide your feedback through the survey below please consider Council has very limited funding and resources to run the Autumn Festival. However for 2023 council has secured State Government funding.
