At the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 24 March 2021, Council resolved to place the Property Addressing and Naming our Roads and Places Policy (POL071) on public exhibition commencing 25 March 2021 and ending on Tuesday 27 April 2021.

This policy governs property addressing, local place and road naming in the Local Government Area. The policy has been updated to replace Armidale Dumaresq Council with Armidale Regional Council, to remove duplication with the Geographical Names Board’s guidelines and update a Register of Pre-Endorsed Road/Place Names (Appendix 1) to remove names already in use or no longer adhering to the updated guidelines.

Submissions are invited and must be addressed to the General Manager, Armidale Regional Council, PO Box 75A, Armidale NSW 2350 or sent by email to council@armidale.nsw.gov.au

Submissions must be received by Council no later than 10pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021.
