At the Ordinary Council Meeting held on December 9, 2020 Council resolved to place the draft Policy for Keeping of Animals on public exhibition commencing Thursday 10 December and ending on Tuesday 26 January 2021.

The purpose of this policy is to detail Council policy on the keeping of animals in urban areas. The keeping of animals, specifically in relation to animal numbers or the manner in which they are kept, can be the subject of Orders pursuant to Section 124 of the Local Government Act 1993

Submissions are invited and must be addressed to the Acting General Manager, Armidale Regional Council, PO Box 75A, Armidale NSW 2350 or sent by e-mail to council@armidale.nsw.gov.au(External link)(External link)

Submissions must be received by Council no later than 5pm on Tuesday, 26 January 2021.
