At the Ordinary Council meeting held on Wednesday 26 October 2022 Council resolved to place a Planning Agreement with Nox Supa Pty Ltd (Developer) on public exhibition for 28 days for the payment of $50,000 to Council, for the master planning and design of improvements for the East Mall, Beardy Street, Armidale.

A report was presented to Council to enter into a Planning Agreement (PA) for payment of a $50,000 contribution towards the master planning and design of improvements for the East Mall, Beardy Street, Armidale as determined by Council, in lieu of providing five (5) car parking spaces in conjunction with the modification of DA-147-2019 and for DA-604-1986 relating to 91 Faulkner Street and 97- 101 Faulkner Street.

Following the public exhibition period, a report will be presented to Council for further consideration, if any submissions are received and that if no submissions are received during the public exhibition period, that the General Manager be provided the delegations to enter into the PA on behalf of Council.

Submissions are invited and must be submitted to Council no later than 5.00 pm on Friday 25 November 2022.

Submissions must be addressed to the General Manager, Armidale Regional Council.

  • Written submissions are accepted over the counter at either of Council’s offices at; 135 Rusden Street, Armidale, NSW, 2350; or 158 Bradley Street, Guyra, NSW, 2365 (office hours are 10am-4pm).
  • Written submissions are also acceptable via post. Mail must be addressed to PO Box 75A, Armidale, NSW 2350.
  • Electronic submissions are preferred and should be sent via Email to council@armidale.nsw.gov.au

This may be as a result of a report to a Council meeting or as part of an application under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.
