Consultation has concluded
Council has received a request to rename the Guyra Community Hall located at the Guyra Showground. It is proposed to name the building The D. R. Gilbert White OAM Memorial Hall, after long-standing Mayor of Guyra Shire Council Gilbert White.
Mr White served as a councillor on Guyra Shire Council from 1960 to 1985, including terms as Shire President. His public service also included leadership roles to the North West Country Council. The request will be considered by Council after 14 days of public consultation.

Public submissions will be treated as non-confidential unless the submitter specifically requests confidentiality. Submitters are also allowed to have their submissions treated as non-confidential, except for the name of the submitter, or other identifying material.
