From Tuesday 1 October, all residents and businesses on town water supplies in the Armidale region will be on Level 5 water restrictions with three day-zero triggers.

Guyra has been on Level 5 restrictions since June and the decision to escalate Armidale to Level 5 has been made because of the Bureau of Meteorology’s latest forecast for continued below average rainfall and above average temperatures.

Without significant rainfall, we have identified the number of days remaining before our region runs out of water for our town water supplies.

    The Armidale region moved to Level 5 restrictions for town water users in Armidale and Guyra from 1 October 2019.

    This survey will help identify how residents feel about saving water and the current water restrictions. It will show us the best ways to keep residents and businesses informed about the water restrictions and to encourage everyone to get on board with water saving initiatives.

    We want to hear about the things you're doing to help save water, or barriers to you conserving water at home.

    This short survey should take you 10 minutes or less to complete but the feedback will be invaluable in helping our community to conserve our precious water supplies.
